Spread the Love! National Hugging Day

Shake off the January blues this chilly Tuesday with a big bear hug to celebrate to National Hugging Day.

National Hugging Day was was first held in Michigan, America, in 1986 when Rev Kevin Zaborney of Caro aimed to show how much he cared for his community.

It was later patented and made into a national day and people started to celebrate the occasion openly across the US, keeping a count of how many people they had embraced on the day.

In this uplifting video, a reporter takes on the challenge of trying to set a World Record for the longest hug!
